General Surgery Trauma PA - Per Diem

Job Requirements

• Employed full-time position with Health First at Holmes Regional Medical Center, a Level 2 Trauma Center in Melbourne, FL
• Schedule: variable, could pick up days, mid shifts or nights.
• Mix of trauma and emergent general surgery admissions, consults, rounding, procedures, and assisting in surgical procedures as a first assist

Work Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current PA license.
• Certification by the NCCPA.
• Must hold current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider completion card prior to start date and maintain.
• Trauma and Surgical first assist experience required, ATLS preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work effectively with a team
