Genesis Service Technician

Description of the role:

The Genesis Service Technician at Jenkins Genesis of Leesburg is responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for Genesis vehicles. This position requires a strong technical background and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. The Genesis Service Technician will work closely with the service team to diagnose and repair issues, perform scheduled maintenance, and ensure the vehicles are properly serviced to meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Repair and replace parts as needed, ensuring the highest level of workmanship
• Communicate with customers and provide detailed explanations of repairs and maintenance
• Document all services performed and maintain accurate records
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an automotive technician or similar role
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of Genesis vehicles and their systems
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
