Expert-Level GEOINT Systems IntegratorMission Intelligence Group is seeking an Expert-Level GEOINT Systems Integrator to lead enterprise-wide GEOINT modernization and transition initiatives supporting the National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG). The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, driving technical transformation efforts that enhance mission readiness and accelerate adoption of next-generation GEOINT capabilities.Your RoleAs an Expert-Level GEOINT Systems Integrator, you will provide strategic leadership across the full Systems Engineering and Integration lifecycle, guiding complex GEOINT architecture, integration, testing, transition, and modernization efforts. You will work closely with NGA, Mission Partners, and stakeholders across the GEOINT community to ensure successful implementation of modernized GEOINT data standards and enterprise capabilities. This role demands exceptional technical expertise, systems thinking, and the ability to lead large-scale, multi-organizational transformation initiatives from concept through Transition to Operations (TTO).Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Integration & TransitionLead enterprise transition planning and readiness activities for modernized GEOINT data standards across the NSG.Develop and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) supporting architecture, engineering, testing, integration, and transition activities.Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) and develop dual-operations transition architectures.Develop and maintain multi-phase enterprise transition roadmaps.Lead enterprise test planning, joint transition planning, and baseline management strategies.Coordinate readiness milestones across NGA and Mission Partners.Develop community outreach strategies and stakeholder communications.Lead end-to-end enterprise integration and transition efforts across multiple organizations.Systems Engineering & Technical AnalysisPerform and lead Architecture Gap Analyses, Requirements Analyses, AoAs, Courses of Action (CoAs), Trade Studies, Risk Analyses, and Critical Path Analyses.Conduct enterprise technical impact assessments and develop transition architecture recommendations.Apply expertise in Joint Enterprise Ground and Space Architecture and GEOINT data standards to inform technical strategies.Define and implement modernized integration processes leveraging Agile, Digital Engineering, MBSE, Automation, and AI.Facilitate development of integrated project plans, requirements, epics, target-state architectures, CONOPS, and enterprise roadmaps.Program & Stakeholder LeadershipEstablish and lead Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and cross-functional working groups.Prepare and support NGA and Joint Agency engineering boards and governance forums.Participate in governance, configuration management, and risk management processes.Identify risks, issues, and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.Provide thought leadership and develop project execution plans supporting mission objectives.Lead cross-organizational modernization efforts across Analytic, Collection Management, Data Services, Foundation GEOINT, and IT domains.Ensure integrated capability delivery and technical alignment across stakeholders.Engineering Innovation & Team LeadershipChampion adoption of Digital Engineering, MBSE, Automation, and Artificial Intelligence practices.Mentor senior, mid-level, and junior GEOINT Systems Engineers and Integrators.Provide task management and technical oversight to engineering team members.Collaborate across engineering disciplines to successfully execute enterprise initiatives.Required QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline.Equivalent expert-level Systems Integration experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.18+ years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirements.Extensive experience integrating cloud-based solutions, including:Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)Software as a Service (SaaS)Platform as a Service (PaaS)Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)On-demand self-serviceBroad network accessResource poolingRapid elasticityMeasured serviceDemonstrated experience architecting and building large-scale service-oriented software solutions.Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI eligibility and successfully complete a polygraph.Desired QualificationsSignificant experience with GEOINT TCPED Architecture, including:Data providersSystems and servicesInterfacesData flowsExtensive experience leading:Multi-agency initiativesMulti-stakeholder programsEnterprise transformation effortsIntegrated Project Teams (IPTs)Dual-operations transition architecturesEnterprise readiness and transition planningStrong understanding of:Current NSG/ASG environmentsNRO enterprise architecturesJoint Enterprise Ground and Space ArchitectureKnowledge of current and legacy GEOINT metadata standards, including:Commercial standardsNITFStill imagery standardsMotion imagery standardsRelated GEOINT data specificationsExperience supporting transformational initiatives involving:Artificial Intelligence (AI)AutomationMulti-Cloud ArchitecturesExperience authoring and coordinating enterprise Requests for Change (RFCs).Proficiency with Agile collaboration and project management tools, including:JiraConfluenceStrong:Written and verbal communication skillsCustomer engagement and relationship-building skillsTechnical leadership and mentorship capabilitiesExperience with or working knowledge of:Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)MBSE tools and methodologiesDigital Engineering environmentsLocation Fully OnsiteChantilly/Springfield, VirginiaSt. Louis, MissouriWhy Mission Intelligence GroupAt Mission Intelligence Group, engineers are trusted to focus on mission outcomes, not bureaucracy.
