Geotechnical Engineer

Island Geotechnical Engineering is a well-established small Geotechnical Engineering firm located in Maui, Hawaii.

We are looking for Geotechnical Engineers both experienced and seasoned and recently graduates with M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be able to work with different disciplines.
• Be able to manage financial and technical aspects of projects.
• Plan and supervise soil exploration, logging, and classification.
• Conduct Soil test in the field and laboratory when needed.
• Schedule laboratory testing to evaluate soil types, behavior, and engineering properties.
• Lead and Manage Engineering Technicians/Inspectors
• Lead and Manage Drilling Crew
• Prepare Geotechnical Engineering Site Investigation Reports

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with Emphasis with specific coursework in geotechnical engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Be able to lift and carry 50 lb.
• Must have a valid Driving License with clean abstract.
