Responsible for providing direct care to patients in a long-term care facility. This includes providing personal care, assisting with activities of daily living, and monitoring patient health.
Must be proficient in geriatric care and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming * Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as eating, toileting, and ambulation * Monitor patient health, including vital signs, intake and output, and skin condition * Report changes in patient condition to the nurse * Complete patient care records * Follow all policies and procedures of the facility * Attend continuing education classes to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in geriatric care
Qualifications
Current GNA certification * At least 1 year of experience working in a long-term care facility * Proficiency in geriatric care * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) needed for all shifts.
Responsibilities:

Document patient care and report any changes.
