Job Summary
We are seeking a Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team! As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will spend your time caring for our aging residents. You will work closely with other nursing assistants and licensed nurses and be a member of the interdisciplinary team.
The job requires good physical and mental health. The ideal candidate must be empathetic, kind and caring toward all residents regardless of their disabilities. You are expected to observe resident's rights including, but not limited to privacy, dignity etc.
Responsibilities
- Make rounds to check on each resident assigned.
- Assist residents with ADL activities.
- Being a positive, supportive presence to our aging patients
Qualifications
- Active, GNA Certification within the state of MD.
- Experience working with an aging population desired
- Comfortability working independently and within a team
- The ability to multitask.
