ED/RN W/RECENT 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING.Per Diem, 3P-3A Shift1. Current and valid state RN license2. Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS 30 days upon of hire and maintain current.4. Bachelor s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred, RN-C w/in 2 years of hire preferred.5. PALS w/in 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients.6. NIHSS Certificate7. NRP Certified
The RN is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ED. The registered nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He/she communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Can respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
