GI Clinical Pharmacist

BayCare is currently in search of our newest GI Clinical Pharmacist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.

Clinical Pharmacist Responsibilities:

The GI Clinical Pharmacist shall support the mission of the hospital by aiming to reduce hospital readmissions through patient discharge follow-up. Perform clinical duties and engage in patient care to assist with medication safety, increase patient medication and disease state understanding, and encourage provider follow-up and continuity of care following hospital discharge.

• Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital
• Location: Tampa, FL
• Status: Full time, exempt
• Shift: 8:00AM - 4:30PM
• Weekend Work: None
• On Call: No

Certifications and Licensure:

• Required: Pharmacist - State of FL
• Preferred: ASHP (Pharmacist)

Education:

• Required: Bachelor's Degree; PharmD preferred

Experience:

• Preferred: PGY-1 residency; PGY-2 residency
