Kforce has a client that is seeking a GL Lead in Seattle, WA.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced GL Lead to lead the design and implementation of SAP General Ledger and the supporting enterprise financial data model. This role will serve as the subject matter lead for SAP GL code block design, Chart of Accounts, reporting structures, hierarchies, and financial data mapping while partnering closely with Finance, Data, Consolidation, and Technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP General Ledger design and implementation activities
- Define and document the SAP enterprise structure and GL code block
- Lead Chart of Accounts design, mapping, and implementation
- Define reporting attributes, financial hierarchies, intercompany structures, and segment reporting requirements
- Lead enterprise financial data model design and maintenance activities
- Develop and review Chart of Accounts cross-reference and mapping tables
- Partner with Data teams to ensure accurate financial data structures and mappings
- Prepare configuration workbooks and initial General Ledger configuration values
- Partner with Consolidation and Group Reporting teams to define balance sheet, trading partner, and elimination requirements
- Support business-unit reporting requirements within SAP GL and Group Reporting
- Lead and participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops and GL-specific fit-gap analysis
- Document General Ledger business and system requirements
- Contribute to process design documentation and business process definitions
- Coordinate General Ledger requirements across Finance, Data, Reporting, Consolidation, and Technology teams
- Identify and resolve design issues, dependencies, and data-model gaps
- Support testing, implementation, cutover, and go-live activities related to General Ledger processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
- The ideal candidate has extensive SAP Finance experience, deep knowledge of SAP General Ledger and SAP S/4HANA Finance, and proven experience supporting large-scale SAP implementations
- Strong SAP FICO experience
- Experience designing and implementing Charts of Accounts
- Experience supporting large-scale SAP implementations
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger processes and financial reporting structures
- Experience with enterprise structure, financial hierarchies, and segment reporting
- Experience with financial data mapping and integration requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to collaborate across Finance, Data, Technology, and Reporting teams
- SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation experience
- SAP Group Reporting experience
- Experience with complex, multi-entity financial environments
- Experience developing GL configuration workbooks and mapping tables
- Experience with intercompany accounting and elimination requirements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
