Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning. Your specific responsibilities as a part of Team Trove will include:
- Maintain assigned general ledger accounts by preparing journal entries and reconciliations, researching discrepancies, and resolving open items.
- Support treasury activities through bank reconciliations, payment preparation, and review of cash receipts and disbursements.
- Manage fixed asset and prepaid expense accounting, including schedules, depreciation or amortization, and related reconciliations.
- Prepare payroll accounting and related headcount, wage, and expense reporting.
- Serve as a key contributor to month-end close by completing assigned procedures, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting entries.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and payment information, support audit requests, and help improve accounting processes and control
Qualifications
We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- 1-2 years of general accounting, finance, or related business experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, required
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (including use of formulas/functions (VLOOKUP, IF, etc.), pivot tables, power query, and ability to sort and analyze data sets to identify errors)
- Experience with ERP systems, preferred
- SQL knowledge, preferred
- Confident working with internal and external customers
- Working knowledge of GAAP
