A leading ophthalmology group is seeking a board-certified Glaucoma Specialist or Surgeon to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled ophthalmologist with glaucoma fellowship training who is looking to practice in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment with flexible scheduling and robust support staff.
Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Employed)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical and surgical glaucoma care
Collaborate with a team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and ambulatory surgical center staff
Participate in surgical procedures in an AAAHC-certified, on-site ambulatory surgical center
Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education
Qualifications:
Board-Certified Ophthalmologist (M.D. or D.O.)
Completion of a Glaucoma Fellowship
Eligible for or currently holding an active Massachusetts medical license
Preferred Experience:
Strong clinical and surgical skills in glaucoma management
Prior experience as a practicing glaucoma specialist or surgeon is preferred, but newly trained fellows are welcome to apply
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary range: $350,000–$400,000, plus a percentage of net collections
Signing bonus/relocation assistance

$2,500 annual CME reimbursement

Attached AAAHC-certified ambulatory surgical center with two ORs and room for expansion
Extensive surgical block time available
Support staff includes technicians, scribes, and ASC personnel
Training available on all provided equipment
Scheduling and Work Environment:
Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 am–5:30 pm; flexible scheduling available
Patient volume and daily schedule tailored to the surgeon's preferences and clinical focus
