Description:
  • Acts as a strategic partner to executive, staff, and line leadership by delivering comprehensive human resources consultation that supports a wide range of business needs. Addresses organizational challenges through tailored HR solutions and provides a full suite of people‑management tools aligned with strategic goals. Coaches leaders in recruitment, employee relations, talent development, workforce deployment, and retention to strengthen organizational capability. Advocates for employee needs, enhancing engagement, contribution, and long‑term commitment to the organization

 

Schedule & Location

  • Full‑time, on‑site position based in Boston, MA, with eligibility for one remote workday per week
  • Occasional travel to nearby offices and other U.S. locations as needed; some overnight and potential international travel may be required

 

Responsibilities

  • Builds strong business partnerships and develops HR plans aligned with the needs of multiple business units
  • Gains a deep understanding of each segment’s strategies, goals, and operational processes
  • Participates as part of the management team to deliver a full range of HR services, including organizational planning, staffing, employee relations, performance management, competency modeling, policy guidance, career development, training, and process improvement
  • Stays current on emerging HR trends and evaluates their relevance to the organization’s consulting model
  • Advises managers on complex employee‑relations matters to reduce organizational risk and ensure appropriate resolution
  • Interprets and refines HR policies and programs to maximize employee potential while meeting legal and cultural requirements
  • Collaborates across the HR function to design and implement company‑wide initiatives

 

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (a combination of education, experience, and skills may be considered)

 

Preferred Education

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience

 

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of professional HR experience 
  • Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered
  • Banking or Insurance experience is highly preferred
