ROLE PURPOSE

The Global Infrastructure Support Team is responsible for implementation and maintenance of corporate technology infrastructure, systems and applications, shared across worldwide network of FINCA Subsidiaries. Providing advanced level subject matter expertise in delivery and support of global technology services, as well as regional and country specific IT projects and initiatives.

As a member of the Global Infrastructure Support Team, the team of Global Network Administrators is responsible for operational support and maintenance of FIF corporate network infrastructure and equipment deployed across several geographic locations.

Global Infrastructure - Network Support Supervisor manages team of the Global Network Administrators, collaborates with his/her teammates, as well as colleagues within the Global Infrastructure Services Team, to ensure the performance, availability and security of corporate network infrastructure.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Team Management

  • Manage Global Network Administrator Team's work schedules, arrange working hours and shifts do provide sufficient coverage for subsidiary's operational day,
  • Provide mentorship, training and coaching of Global Network administration team members,
  • Create and follow team operating plans and roadmaps,
  • Evaluate staff performance and efficiency, define KPI-s for team member performance metrics and implement suitable reports,
  • Effectively prioritize team resources and activities, define priorities and SLA's of network related requests and distribute between team members,
  • Provide knowledge sharing among team members, create and maintain documentation of systems under responsibility, ability to support quick team member onboarding process,
  • Participate in global network administrator teams staff hiring and interviewing process,
  • Support personal development and learning path for team members,
  • Act as a subject matter expert for global or subsidiary network related queries,
  • Take lead and define appropriate best practices in network device configuration and security settings for local IT teams.

Implementation

  • Responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of network equipment at respective locations (on-premises or cloud),
  • Conduct the configuration and optimization of LAN/WAN specific to FIF entities,
  • Provide support for the configuration and maintenance of VPN connections among FIF entities, end users and other counterparts (in collaboration with infrastructure and user support teams),
  • Responsible for configuration of infrastructure monitoring tools, to ensure network related incidents are identified and alerted promptly ? to minimize service interruptions.

Maintenance and support

  • Ensure adequacy of network related security measures and controls - Firewalls, ACL's, IDS/IPS polices, etc. Perform updates/upgrades related to network infrastructure,
  • Ensure configuration of the global, regional and subsidiary network devices are backed up.
  • Maintain technical documentation related to Network architecture and design,
  • Analyze FINCA's global network infrastructure, identify gaps and suggest improvements.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Fortinet Certification: NSE4 is highly desirable,
  • CISCO CCNP, CCSP or higher-Level Certifications preferred,
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) preferred.

Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in a large organization administering, operating, problem solving, trouble shooting, maintaining large-scale network environments,
  • Hands on advanced experience in configuration and maintenance of network devices,
  • Hands on experience with Fortigate, Cisco, Sophos and other Network vendor Firewalls,
  • Operational experience in Fortinet Network Management products (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Fortiauthenticator) will be considered a plus.

Knowledge and Skills

  • A proven ability to solve problems in a timely and professional manner,
  • Able to produce high volume product with high quality standards,
  • Able to manage multiple requests at the same time and prioritize,
  • Availability to work different schedules, to ensure service continuation.

Language Skills

  • Fluency in English required.

Travel requirements

  • Availability to travel up to 10% of the time.
