Stand8 is seeking a Global Network Operations NOC Lead to support complex Tier 2 network operations for a leading telecommunications organization. This technical individual-contributor role will focus on complex network troubleshooting, multi-customer outages, intermittent service issues, and backbone/core monitoring. The ideal candidate will have hands-on IP or transport experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with carrier-grade monitoring systems and network equipment.

Key Responsibilities- Thoroughly investigate and analyze network infrastructure to determine root cause of service impairments.
- Troubleshoot complex network outages affecting multiple customers.
- Investigate intermittent circuit issues and service-impacting network events.
- Monitor carrier backbone and core networks.
- Plan, validate, and execute corrective measures on optical, transport, and IP networks in a timely fashion, meeting or exceeding SLA guidelines.
- Ensure internal teams and leadership receive clear and concise ticket updates with regularity.
- Provide peer-to-peer support for Network Analysts and NOC Technicians.
- Demonstrate proficient handling of network monitoring systems, including Netcool, to quickly identify and repair network events.
- Work with Ciena, Nokia, Juniper, ADVA, MRV, Cisco, Infinera, and other network platforms.
- Coordinate corrective actions with field technicians, vendors, network teams, and other cross-functional groups.
- Draft and conduct change-management events as needed following troubleshooting of the network.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and performance metrics.
- Participate in technical conference calls and major incident coordination.
- Adapt to evolving systems, processes, and reporting structures during the FiberCo/Zayo integration.
QualificationsRequired:- Minimum of three (3) years telecommunications experience.
- Solid understanding of network technologies and communications protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience on Ciena, Cisco, Juniper, MRV, Infinera, and ADVA platforms.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in computer science or related area required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
- Ability to work as a technical individual contributor in a Lead-level position.
- Ability to work the assigned 2:00 PM-10:00 PM Eastern shift.
- Ability to work either the Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday schedule.
- Ability to commute to the Doral, FL or Melville, NY office.

- Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft CRM, or Netcracker.
- Familiarity with DLR.
- Experience supporting major multi-customer network outages.

Additional DetailsThe base range for this contract position is $22 - $32 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
