Global Supply Chain Operations Manager

Meta is seeking a Global Supply Chain Operations Manager to drive end-to-end supply chain execution for hardware programs supporting Meta's portfolio of consumer devices, data center infrastructure, and emerging technologies including virtual reality, augmented reality, and wearable platforms. In this role, you will lead cross-functional efforts to manage supplier ecosystems, ensure component supply continuity, and align sourcing strategies with product development and manufacturing timelines across complex, high-volume global programs.Define and execute commodity strategies for technically complex components including custom silicon, electromechanical assemblies, optical modules, display systems, and structural hardware used across Meta's hardware product lines Lead supplier engagement activities including demand versus supply assessments, manufacturing capability audits, capacity planning, and risk evaluations across global supply chains Partner with hardware engineering, new product introduction, and manufacturing operations teams to influence component architecture decisions and design-for-manufacturability trade-offs during early product development stages Establish supplier performance management frameworks including scorecards, structured business reviews, and corrective action plans tied to quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness metrics Identify and mitigate supply chain risks arising from geopolitical factors, single-source dependencies, commodity market volatility, and supplier financial instability Drive multi-source supply strategies and qualification of alternate suppliers to improve supply chain resilience across critical component categories Collaborate with demand planning, logistics, and operations teams to align supplier capacity commitments and lead time targets with product ramp schedules and volume forecasts Develop and communicate commodity roadmaps and supply chain strategies to cross-functional partners and organizational leadership, influencing sourcing decisions at scale Support new product introduction programs by managing supplier ramp readiness, coordinating first article inspections, and tracking production validation milestones Leverage data analytics and supply chain platforms to monitor spend, track supplier performance trends, and surface actionable insights for continuous improvement6+ years of experience in technical sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain operations within the hardware manufacturing industry Experience leading end-to-end supply chain execution for technically complex components, including supplier selection, negotiation, qualification, and lifecycle management Experience conducting manufacturing capability assessments, process audits, and supplier risk evaluations for high-volume production programs Experience collaborating cross-functionally with hardware engineering, quality engineering, new product introduction, and finance teams to align sourcing decisions with product and business requirements Experience developing and presenting commodity strategies, supply risk analyses, and supplier performance reports to cross-functional stakeholders Familiarity with responsible sourcing standards or supplier sustainability assessment frameworks applicable to global hardware supply chains Experience managing supply chains for consumer electronics or wearable hardware products, including components such as optical systems, display modules, or custom silicon Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize supply chain workflows and drive measurable impact such as efficiency gains, lead time reduction, or risk identification improvements Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Experience using enterprise procurement or supply chain platforms to manage supplier data, contract workflows, and commodity spend analytics Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
