Job Description

The Supply Chain Program Manager leads end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for customer programs, from product concept through mass production. As a key partner to the Strategic Partnerships team, this role drives sourcing, supplier management, product costing, manufacturing readiness, and risk mitigation to ensure customer, cost, and operational objectives are achieved. Working closely with global teams, suppliers, and customers, the Supply Chain Program Manager delivers scalable supply chain solutions that support successful product launches and long-term business growth.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary supply chain subject matter expert when engaging externally with strategic partners on all matters related to product cost, sourcing, supplier strategy, manufacturing readiness, and end-to-end supply chain execution; act as a trusted advisor to the Strategic Partnerships team by aligning supply chain strategies with customer and business objectives.
  • Lead supply chain strategy and execution throughout the product lifecycle, from product concept and supplier selection through commercialization, manufacturing ramp, and mass production.
  • Partner with GSM, Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to develop RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, and provide customer requirements, expectations, and feedback throughout the sourcing process.
  • Develop and execute supplier sourcing, qualification, and selection strategies, including evaluation of supplier capabilities, capacity, quality, technology roadmaps, cost competitiveness, and risk.
  • Create supplier selection recommendations, cost comparison analyses, business cases, and decision matrices to support sourcing and product development decisions.
  • Own product cost management and cost optimization initiatives by developing bottom-up cost models, validating supplier quotations, analyzing cost drivers, and identifying opportunities for long-term savings and margin improvement.
  • Develop and manage cost reduction roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain performance, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze supplier, manufacturing, and supply chain performance using KPIs and data-driven insights to identify risks, trends, improvement opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks related to suppliers, manufacturing operations, capacity, quality, logistics, and material availability, while developing proactive contingency plans.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams to influence Design-for-Cost (DFC) and Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM) decisions and evaluate the supply chain impact of product design changes.
  • Support manufacturing readiness and product launch activities by partnering with factory teams on capacity planning, yield improvement, productivity optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Serve as the key liaison between customers, suppliers, GSM teams, manufacturing partners, and executive leadership to communicate supply chain strategies, business risks, cost analyses, and recommendations.
  • Present supply chain insights, sourcing strategies, risk assessments, and financial recommendations to executive leadership using clear, data-driven analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Available to work on-site 2-3 days per week and travel domestically and internationally, including occasional travel to Asia.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in global supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, operations, or supplier management within the consumer electronics industry.
  • Proven experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI/MPI) and sustaining product portfolios, including NDA and non-NDA programs.
  • Strong expertise in product costing, cost modeling, supplier quotation analysis, BOM structures, manufacturing processes, yields, productivity metrics, tooling, and factory operations.
  • Extensive experience working with ODM, JDM, OEM, EMS, and component suppliers in product development and mass production environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex programs concurrently across different stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical, operational, and supply chain challenges.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, customers, and executive stakeholders in a global environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting strategic partnerships, supplier strategy, or business development organizations.
  • Experience with supplier qualifications and global sourcing strategies.
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering concepts.
  • Experience working extensively with Asia-based suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • Proven ability to foster AI fluency across teams, driving adoption of AI tools and building a culture of digital literacy
  • Demonstrate experience in digital enablement, rolling out AI/automation solutions and training teams on digital workflows
