Venteon Finance is currently seeking a GLOBAL TAX MANAGER for a long-time manufacturing client in Oakland County
REQUIREMENTS for the Global Tax Manager role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting
CPA or MST highly preferred
7+ years of relevant tax experience, including Public Accounting experience
Broad tax exposure including Federal and SALT Compliance, and International
Supervisory experience is required
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Global Tax Manager role
Assist with management of tax compliance and tax provision process
Monitor and coordinate with foreign entities regarding local tax compliance filings, transfer pricing analysis/support, cash and book tax forecasting
Manage/ Review the reporting process of monthly sales & use tax filings and exemption certificates, VAT, personal property tax filings, state and local business licenses, etc.
Respond to and resolve tax queries, assessments and claims from federal, state, and foreign governmental tax authorities
Assist external firm with compiling transfer pricing documentation for yearly transfer pricing reports
Perform tax planning and research activities in connections with business transactions, changing tax rules, and changing business processes
Other Duties as assigned
