GMP Batch Blending Technician

Location: Princeton, NJ • Schedule: 2nd Shift

Step into a hands-on role at the core of safe, high‑quality manufacturing. As a GMP Batch Blending Technician, you will execute precise compounding and material‑handling activities that keep every batch on spec and every customer confident in our products.

A day on the second shift

• Start with safety: review work orders, batch records, and verify materials against formulas.
• Set up equipment—pumps, filters, scales, and computerized control systems—for accurate production.
• Compound ingredients to approved formulas and batch instructions with exacting measurements.
• Protect product integrity: follow 5S, maintain proper ventilation, wear required PPE, and apply chemical handling and spill‑response procedures.
• Monitor GMP, HACCP, PRPs, OPRPs, and CCP requirements as assigned; document precisely.
• Escalate immediately if you spot quality deviations, food‑safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or unsafe conditions.
• Support proper processing, storage, and transfer to prevent mix‑ups or contamination.

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1–3 years as a packing compounder or similar compounding/mixing role.
• Working knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles.
• Comfort operating pumps, filters, scales, and computer systems in a production environment.
• Physical readiness: stand through 60–90% of the shift; frequently lift and handle a 35‑lb product hose.
• Proficiencies: mixing, weighing raw materials, shop math; forklift license preferred.

Compensation and benefits

The pay range reflects what dsm‑firmenich expects to offer for this role, with the final offer based on job‑related skills, experience, relevant education/training, and primary work location. Pay range: $27.00–$29.00.
