About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily grading operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage and train crew members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare grading plans according to project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards on all job sites.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and oversee repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for management review.
• Implement best practices for erosion control and land preservation during grading activities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in grading and excavation operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of grading equipment and machinery, including operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
