Arizona State University (ASU) invites nominations and applications for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Vice Provost and Dean of ASUs Graduate College to lead the strategic advancement of graduate education across the university. This transformative leader will drive innovation and excellence in graduate education by fostering collaboration among faculty, staff, administrators, and external partners and spearheading a new design for graduate education and the Graduate College at ASU. The Vice Provost and Dean will play a critical role in realizing ASUs mission to support and elevate its wide variety of high-quality graduate programs and their faculty, staff, students, and postdoctoral fellows.
The successful candidate will serve as a passionate advocate for graduate education, both within ASU and throughout the broader community. They will develop a comprehensive approach to program offerings, ensure that policies and practices support student success, facilitate interdisciplinary partnerships, and respond to the needs of corporate partners, emerging industries, public service organizations, and nonprofits.

Essential Functions of the Position:
- Strategic enrollment growth and management.
- Working with stakeholders to create a new vision that is responsive to changing needs and challenges in graduate education.
- Managing an infrastructure to implement the strategic direction of ASUs graduate education.
- Developing and promoting innovative graduate programs and initiatives to expand access.
- Enhancing the graduate school experience to enable student success, especially in "success skills" linked to evolving local, state, national, and global economies.
- Enhancing graduate students quality of life.
- Promoting the growth of interdisciplinary and hybrid masters programs.
- Developing strategic market and recruitment strategies for online, campus, and international degree programs.
- Aligning the work of the graduate division with ASUs mission of access and inclusive excellence.
