
JOB SUMMARY | The College of Arts and Sciences Office of Finance and Administration is seeking a Graduate Student Project Assistant to support the Associate Dean and Senior Director of College Operations with a variety of project-based assignments during the summer and fall. This part-time student role is a good opportunity for a graduate student interested in higher education administration, project coordination, operations, and organizational support. Â The Graduate Project Assistant will help with research, communications, meeting support, document preparation, and general coordination for ongoing projects and special initiatives. |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES | - Assist with project-related tasks and general administrative support - Help organize materials, documents, and shared project files - Support meeting preparation, note-taking, and follow-up - Draft and format documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and communications - Conduct basic research and gather information for projects and planning - Help track timelines, tasks, and next steps for active initiatives - Assist with data entry and routine project tracking - Provide support on other related assignments as needed |
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS | - Current enrollment in a graduate degree program - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines - Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized - Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or similar platforms - Strong initiative and reliability |
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS | - Interest in data analytics, administration, and/or project management - Prior experience in an office, academic, or student support setting |
