Grain Location Manager

Grain Location Manager – St. Libory, IL

Pay: $21–$25 per hour | Reports to: Grain Operations Manager

Top Ag Cooperative is looking for a hands-on leader to manage daily operations at our St. Libory grain location. In this role, you'll lead a team of operations employees and oversee grain handling, quality and inventory, equipment maintenance, scale operations, and truck loading and unloading, with a strong focus on safety and on service to our farmer owners.

What you'll do:

• Lead, train, and hold team members accountable to safety standards, company policies, and Top Ag's core values
• Operate the grain scale, grade grain, and record weights, grades, and splits
• Maintain grain quality and inventory control
• Direct and complete preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
• Keep the location safe, clean, and professional, and make sure outside contractors follow safety rules

What we're looking for:

• Leadership ability and strong communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machinery
• Attention to detail and proficient computer skills
• Associate's degree in Ag Business, Ag Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in agricultural operations or truck loading/unloading is a plus
• Valid driver's license

Working conditions: This role works both outdoors and in an office, and includes exposure to dust, noise, and all types of weather. It involves climbing stairs and ladders, working at heights and in confined spaces, and lifting up to 60 lbs. The schedule includes extended hours, weekends, holidays, and seasonal overtime as needed.
