Target Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000
Two Days onsite, Midtown Manhattan

Key Responsibilities for the Grants & Contracts Accountant:

• 
  
• Manage grants and contracts administration, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and financial policies.
• 
  
• Perform project accounting, expense reconciliations, budget monitoring, and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Prepare vouchers, maintain contract documentation, and support project budget development and modifications.
• 
  
• Support funder audits and the organization's annual audit process.
• 
  
• Maintain projects within Sage Intacct and develop advanced Excel reporting and tracking tools.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Grants & Contracts Accountant:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 
  
• 3+ years of financial management experience, preferably within grant accounting or nonprofit finance.
• 
  
• Strong accounting foundation with experience in budgeting, reconciliations, financial reporting, fund accounting, and audit support.
• 
  
• Knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200), advanced Excel skills, and accounting software experience; Sage Intacct preferred.
