Description

  • Collaborate with Program, Operations, and Development teams to manage grants and contracts throughout their full lifecycle.
  • Develop and monitor grant and contract budgets, ensuring compliance with funder requirements and organizational goals.
  • Process budget modifications and maintain accurate financial records for all funding sources.
  • Track expenditures and funding utilization to maximize revenue and ensure budgets remain on target.
  • Oversee the vouchering process, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Respond to funder inquiries and resolve reporting, reimbursement, and compliance-related issues.
  • Partner with program leadership to review financial performance, analyze variances, and monitor grant activity.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, forecasts, and supporting documentation for management.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
  • Manage accounts receivable and monitor outstanding grant and contract reimbursements.
  • Supervise the Grants & Contracts Specialist and review key grant-related financial transactions.
  • Assist with special projects and other finance-related initiatives as needed.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 3+ years of accounting, grants, contracts, or nonprofit finance experience.
  • Experience with government grants, budgeting, compliance, and cost allocations preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and financial systems; Fund EZ experience is a plus.
  • Commitment to supporting mission-driven organizations and diverse communities.
