WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR -
We are looking for a Production Artist to join the Design Production Art team who loves the technical details of the graphic process as well as finding new ways of working. This role amplifies graphic design by delivering flawless, production-ready files. They are a trusted resource within the team, creating detailed and accurate graphic schematics, with the ability to run point for Production Art within given categories by attending meetings, identifying personal action items, and being available as the go-to graphic production resource for a greater, cross-functioning team. In addition, they will coach and lead the team into new ways of working. This candidate needs a creative mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment while keeping production moving forward.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON -
You'll be working on highly visible product across cut-and-sew and tees inspired by signature basketball athletes where sport, design, style and culture meet, and where graphics are being redefined for both athletes and fans. You'll work with Design to create and finalize graphic details across multiple levels of product, leveraging both 2D and 3D tools. A typical day includes Production Art meetings and alignment, high-volume schematic creation and Client-down product page creation, documentation for downstream partners, and reviewing strike-offs. You'll also track and maintain file accuracy through final approval, and advocate for efficiencies in the product creation life cycle.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH -
You'll report directly to the Production Art Manager or Senior Manager, collaborating with fellow Graphic Production Artists and Graphic Designers. Primary cross-functional partners are Apparel Design, Graphic Design, Product Management, Technical Development, and Material Development.
MUST-HAVE -
5+ years of experience in a design and/or production environment (apparel senior-level production art)
Experience with signature athlete / fashion-side apparel product
Proficient knowledge of Illustrator and Adobe Suite
Advanced knowledge of graphic applications such as ink types and trim substrates
Understanding of product lifecycle and key deliverables
Expert-level listening, communication, and organizational skills
Laser focus on critical details that often get missed
Ability to multi-task amidst competing priorities
Portfolio showing technical schematics + graphic design + production art work (logos, trims), with clear start-to-finish ownership
NICE-TO-HAVE
Proven ability to support and lead peers in new tools and ways of working
Ability to navigate ambiguity while continuing to collaborate with the team
Curiosity for learning and building a strong design community
Experience in 3D apparel programs (CLO or Lotta)
Understanding of Smartsheets, Airtable, and Miro
Screen printing on apparel, trims, color separations, all-over print, printing design, supplementation
Footwear and accessories production art experience
A love for sports is a bonus a love for design is essential
Previous industry experience preferred

Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
