- Team details & who they will work with: Taking graphics from Graphic Designers and executing them for Production. Creating tech pack schematics and making good design decisions
Desired Candidate Profile: - Minimum required years of experience: 1+ YOE with schematic or graphic production design, ex: packaging, print design, footwear, technical graphic design, book design, typography
Education requirements: Graphic Design Degree or similar
Portfolios:- Some design schematics have range as a graphic designer, digital design for print design, labeling design dimensions, separating layers, packaging design.
- HM is looking for graphic design portfolios that are more technical and show process work for things like print, book or product design.
- What they are not looking for is very illustration or branding heavy portfolios. Or portfolios that focus on concept work.
Must have skills: - This role is heavy on the technical graphic design side. They need to understand design thinking, but this is not a conceptual design role
- Interested in production, technical side of design, building schematics
- Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge of pre-press, screen printing, trims, printing process, typography
- Adobe illustrator, pre-press color separations, maintaining files for product design
- Strong footwear interest, but experience is not required
