    Description

    HYBRID

    Position will require a minimum of on-site work once per month when training / acclimation is complete. Additional on-site work as required and/or requested by HHS.

    SUMMARY 

    The Graphic Designer III is responsible for developing visual concepts, creating designs for digital and print materials, and collaborating with marketing and development teams to ensure brand consistency. This position can work on a variety of projects, including advertisements, websites, logos, brochures, and social media content.

    ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS  

    Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.  

    Must possess appropriate level of certifications as required. 

    Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

    Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

    Leads design projects from concept to completion. 

    Collaborates with clients to understand their design needs and objectives. 

    Develops and presents design proposals and strategies to clients. 

    Creates high-quality designs for various mediums, including print and digital. 

    Provides feedback to junior graphic designers. 

    Coordinates with external vendors and printers to ensure accurate production. 

    Stays updated with emerging design trends and technologies. 

    Graphic Designer should be proficient in:

    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe InDesign
    • Adobe Acrobat Pro
    • Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Word
    • Layout and publication design
    • JAWS
    • Section 508 accessibility requirements
    • Forms and document design
    • Creating accessible PDFs and electronic publications
    • Knowledge of plain language principles

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

    Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Work is primarily performed in an office/warehouse setting. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.  Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, occasionally above head. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Regularly lifts and/or moves up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to fifty pounds. Works near moving mechanical parts. Regularly exposed to general office and general office machinery noise. May be exposed to warehouse, truck or forklift noise.

    The estimated pay range for this role is $38 to $42/hr, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
