We are seeking a thoughtful and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team.

The ideal candidate brings a strong aesthetic sensibility and an interest in communicating design concepts through compelling graphics.

You will collaborate with marketing staff and design professionals to produce proposals, presentations, and other materials that communicate our expertise and support business development. Success in this role requires strong editorial design skills, combining typography, composition, and visual storytelling to organize complex information into clear, engaging layouts.

Responsibilities

• Design proposals, qualifications packages, and interview presentations that communicate RATIO's expertise through clear narratives and compelling visuals.
• Collaborate with pursuit leaders and contributors across the firm to gather and organize proposal content, incorporate feedback, and coordinate reviews and approvals through final production.
• Produce print and digital marketing materials, including project profiles, brochures, award submissions, and publications.
• Develop supporting graphics, including infographics, process diagrams, and graphic schedules, to communicate complex information clearly.
• Select, edit, and prepare project photography for use across marketing materials.
• Create, update, and publish website content in coordination with marketing, public relations, and design staff. Prepare layouts, imagery, and supporting assets.
• Maintain and refine design templates and organize shared project assets.
• Review and prepare final files for print and digital delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with brand standards, submission requirements, and production specifications.

Qualifications

• A strong portfolio demonstrating editorial design, typography, layout, and visual communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience.
• Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to organize complex information and work effectively within established brand standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• A collaborative, self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn and incorporate feedback.

Preferred Experience

• Proposal and marketing design experience within architecture, engineering, construction, or other professional services.
• Working knowledge of WordPress, including publishing and updating pages and posts, formatting content, and preparing images for the web.
• Video editing or animation skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Practical experience with applied AI in design exploration, image editing, and production workflows.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is commensurate with experience and location: $50,000-$75,000.
