The Graphic Designer supports the communications and marketing efforts of the College of Education by creating visually compelling print and digital materials that strengthen the college's brand, elevate storytelling and support student recruitment, advancement, academic programs, events and institutional initiatives.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for graphic design and stays current on design trends, higher education marketing best practices and emerging digital platforms. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong creative and conceptual thinking skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging visual designs. They possess a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, high-quality work while managing multiple projects and deadlines. The candidate should be able to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment, maintaining strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented approach when working with faculty, staff and campus partners.

Minimum Qualifications
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding and digital design principles
Experience designing both print and digital platforms
Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
Experience creating accessible and inclusive design materials that are ADA compliant when integrated into a CMS and uploaded to social
Design marketing and communications materials including brochures, flyers, postcards, digital ads, social media graphics, presentations, signage, annual reports and event collateral.
