Green Chain Puller

A local mill in the Spanaway/Graham area is seeking a Green Chain Puller/Plywood Sorter for their busy location. The mill is a Softwood Veneer plant and one of the largest manufacturers on the west coast.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and sort veneering products
• Pull materials from the conveyor
• Perform quality control
• Operate machinery and heavy equipment
• Handle materials
• Perform preventative maintenance

The company offers day and swing shifts with a minimum of 10 hours of overtime per week. The ideal candidate for this position will have green chain, construction, labor, or manufacturing experience, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, the ability to lift 50lbs regularly, and high mechanical ability. The pay for this position starts at $23 per hour and increases to $25.38 per hour after 90 days.
