GREEN DOT: Application Support Analyst

This position will support .NET-based applications and systems in a dynamic enterprise environment. This role focuses on resolving production-level issues, assisting in release activities, and contributing to data integrity and performance monitoring. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with internal standards. This position will need to rely on the understanding of payment processing and the technical aspects of financial transactions.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 application support; identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots all assigned production application incidents.
• Provide Level 2 deep dive analysis on urgent and critical application related issues.
• Ensures all issues follow the production issue resolution process, and are logged, tracked, and resolved in the issue management tool (Atlassian JIRA PD)
• Works with stakeholders on the proper identification and ranking of reported issues.
• Communicates urgent incident statuses to levels of Management as appropriate.
• Monitor the deployment of hotfixes and development releases into the Testing and Production environments.
• Participates in application release management cycles, including scheduled/unscheduled maintenance activities impacting the Production environment.
• Supports production application deployments as well as other change activities.
• Research Production issue(s) using DataDog and AWS Redshift SQL (or SQL Server for some legacy applications)
• Works closely with various technology groups to determine solutions to reported issues.
• Works with QA to test solutions as necessary
