BLAZIN CHICKEN JC LLC is looking for a skilled and passionate Grill Man to join our team in Jersey City, NJ! Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage grill station to cook chicken and other menu items to order
• Monitor grill temperatures and ensure proper cooking times for food safety and quality
• Season, marinate, and prepare chicken and proteins prior to service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grill station throughout each shift
• Work efficiently during high-volume rushes to ensure timely food preparation
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines and regulations
• Communicate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a grill cook, line cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and food preparation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-heat kitchen environment
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Food handler certification is a plus
