Description

Job DescriptionManage multiple ground-up self-storage construction projects from start to finish. Coordinate field operations and work closely with Superintendents to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Travel to active job sites across the East and West Coast approximately 2-3 days per week. Act as the primary client-facing representative, maintaining strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Resolve field issues, monitor project progress, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and schedules. Review project documentation, schedules, drawings, and construction plans while utilizing software such as Procore and Bluebeam. Provide leadership and support to field teams while maintaining the highest level of professionalism.The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Construction Manager should have: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Project Management or Construction Management experience with a strong background in ground-up commercial construction. Self-storage experience is highly desirable but not required; candidates with commercial, light industrial, or conversion project experience will also be considered.
