Grounds Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:00pm)

• Performs all matters related to groundskeeping, maintenance of property and the overall appearance of cemetery grounds and buildings.
• Conducts set up for funeral services, operate lowering device for casket, fill tamp, level and seed gravesites.
• Mow and trim grass, water and fertilize lawns, trim shrubs, tend to flower beds, plow, and shovel snow during the winter.
• Complete work orders. Maintain equipment and vehicles, including minor repairs.

Grounds Specialist Qualifications:

• Experience in groundskeeping, lawn care, or landscaping
• Ability to operate mowers, trimmers, tractors, dump trucks
• Comfortable working outdoors for an 8 hour shift
• Valid Driver's License Required

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
