Groundskeeper

Under the supervision of the Grounds Supervisor the Groundskeeper will performs a full range of grounds maintenance & gardening duties. This includes but not limited to assists in various related landscaping projects, maintains campus grounds, athletic fields and other special venues according to the users request or published specifications.

Essential Functions

40% - Mows lawns, trims, prunes trees, fertilizes, maintains irrigation systems, waters, sweeps walkways and building entry ways

20% - Maintains athletic fields, sets up facilities for special events including layout and lining athletic fields

15% - Digs trenches, cultivates, plants and transplants, spreads mulch, rakes leaves/debris

15% - Operate various grounds equipment, such as tractors, mowers, edgers, trimmers, spreaders, aerators, top dressers, etc.

10% - Other Duties as assigned
