Morningstar Living is currently hiring a Full-Time Groundskeeper II for our Heritage Village residential living community in Nazareth, PA.

Wage Information: The wage range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr., depending on prior work history and experience.

Full-Time Day Shift - Enjoy a consistent, year-round daytime schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some weekends and holidays. 

*Must be available to report to work during early morning hours for snow removal and ice management during winter weather events.

What will I do in the role of Groundskeeper II?

• Maintain our 52-acre community by caring for lawns, landscaping, walkways, and outdoor areas year-round.
• Mow, prune, edge, plant, weed, and mulch to keep the grounds looking their best.
• Support seasonal needs, including leaf cleanup and snow and ice removal.
• Operate grounds equipment, including Zero-Turn mowers, tractors, snowplows, and salt trucks.
• Assist with seasonal pool maintenance, including logs and pool chemicals as directed.
• Keep work areas and equipment spaces clean, safe, and organized.
• Partner with the Maintenance team on property upkeep and resident dwelling repairs as needed.
• Follow safety requirements, policies, and applicable regulations while performing your work.

You’ll Be a Great Fit if You:

• Have at least 3 years of grounds or landscape maintenance experience
• Are at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have a current, valid driver's license in good standing
• Have experience operating riding mowers, Zero-Turn mowers, and other grounds equipment
• Can safely operate snow removal equipment, including snowplows and salt trucks
• Are dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently
• Enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining a beautiful property
• Are willing to assist with general maintenance and repairs when needed

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on role that is primarily performed outdoors throughout the year.

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to work in hot and cold outdoor conditions
• Exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, odors, and conditions associated with grounds and maintenance work
• Ability to work safely around mechanical equipment, electrical components, and other potential workplace hazards
