The Group Events Sales Representative is a proactive, field-based sales role responsible for driving new event business across all Karl Strauss brewpubs. The Sales Representative is expected to spend the majority of their time in-market developing relationships, prospecting new clients, and generating incremental revenue through corporate events, social gatherings, and community partnerships.
Prospect and develop new business through outbound sales, networking, and community engagement.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, hotels, event planners, and local organizations.
Generate, manage, and convert a pipeline of private events, catering, and group dining opportunities.
Spend significant time in the field developing business and representing the brand within assigned markets.
Collaborate with brewpub operations and marketing teams to coordinate events, execute promotions, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Manage sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting within the CRM while meeting established revenue goals and performance metrics.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in the field, builds relationships, and consistently generates new business. Success requires energy, discipline, and a strong sense of ownership over results.
Located in the Orange County or surrounding area
1–3+ years of sales experience (restaurant group sales, events, hospitality, catering, or B2B)
Strong outbound sales mindset and competitive drive
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
Experience in restaurant group sales or event sale
Familiarity with CRM systems (Toast Catering, TripleSeat or similar)
