Overview:
AVIDD Community Services of NJ is seeking an experienced Group Home Manager to oversee a residential home supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Responsibilities:
- Supervise DSPs, Assistant Managers, and residential staff.
- Create and manage staff schedules.
- Oversee daily care for individuals with IDD.
- Support personal care (hygiene, mobility, feeding, medication oversight).
- Transport individuals to appointments.
- Maintain Therap documentation and electronic records.
- Participate in ISP meetings and care planning.
- Manage home operations including petty cash and resident funds.
- Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support.
- Ensure compliance with NJ DDD regulations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required (Associate’s preferred).
- 5+ years group home or residential management experience (IDD required).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong leadership and staff supervision experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
