Position:Group Leader Grades 1-2; Solutions Extended Day Location: - Washington K-2 School Reports to: Solutions Site Director Terms of employment: Monday- Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM and 11:00 AM-6:00 PM on early release days Salary: $18 per hour This position qualifies for town benefits, including Health Insurance General Description: Franklin Public Schools is seeking a Group Leader. The Group Leader is responsible for assisting with the daily operation of the Solutions after school program at their assigned site. The Group Leader ensures a safe and engaging environment for children. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and actively participate in program activities with students.
• Assist with daily attendance and resolve attendance discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with site staff to implement daily program components and activities.
• Assist to maintain accurate and up-to-date program records with the support of Program Directors.
• Assist in reviewing and updating educational materials and curriculum resources.
• Assist in developing and submitting monthly curriculum and lesson plans by designated due dates.
• Ensure all program areas remain clean, organized, and safe, including sweeping floors and sanitizing table surfaces.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and school personnel.
• Basic computer knowledge (Google Apps a plus)
• Must be 18 and have a High School Diploma
