Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of product management experience leading product growth and engagement strategies for consumer products.
Experience with product growth and user acquisition for global consumer products operating with active users.
Experience leading cross-functional product initiatives and mentoring product managers in an individual contributor leadership capacity, partnering with engineering, data science, UX, marketing, and business leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience integrating Conversational AI / Generative AI capabilities into core consumer user journeys or navigating shifting user traffic across search and partner ecosystems.
Expertise in growth science, viral loops, funnel optimization, and A/B experimentation frameworks.
Track record of driving user acquisition and engagement across emerging markets, the Android ecosystem, and expanding consumer cohorts (e.g., younger demographics).
Proven success leading both 0-to-1 product innovation and 1-to-100 scaling in consumer technology.

We are seeking a Group Product Manager for User Growth to serve as the growth driver for Google Maps. You will be responsible for identifying, architecting, and scaling opportunities to expand our global reach and user engagement.
You will solve some of our most complex growth issues, building tailored strategies across iOS and Android, navigate rapid evolution of Conversational and GenAI, and unlock growth across mature and emerging markets.
The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives.
The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
