    Role Overview

    We are seeking an Growth Lead, North America to join our dynamic go-to-market team. You''ll own the full sales cycle for institutional customers across North America - from prospecting through close, helping banks, fintechs, and other institutions move money faster and more efficiently across borders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    New Business Development

    • Build and manage a pipeline of institutional prospects across North America, from initial outreach through qualification
    • Identify and prioritize target accounts - banks, fintechs, and other institutions with cross-border payment needs

    Full-Cycle Sales Execution

    • Own deals end-to-end: discovery, solution design, negotiation, and close
    • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
    • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in the CRM

    Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management

    • Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (Treasury, Finance, Payments, and Operations leaders) at prospective and existing clients
    • Serve as a strategic advisor, understanding each client''s cross-border payment needs and tailoring OpenFX''s value proposition accordingly

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Legal & Compliance, and Marketing to navigate technical integrations and structure deals
    • Work with leadership to refine sales strategy, messaging, and positioning as the go-to-market motion matures

    Market Strategy & Intelligence

    • Stay close to trends in cross-border payments and institutional finance to inform territory and account strategy
    • Share client feedback with Product to help shape the roadmap

    What we are looking for

    Must-haves:

    • 5+ years of full-cycle, quota-carrying sales experience in fintech or payments
    • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
    • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting to close
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presence
    • Comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
    • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot) for pipeline and forecast management

    What helps you stand out

    • Experience selling into banks, fintechs, or other financial institutions
    • Background in cross-border payments, FX, treasury, or related infrastructure
    • Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup, helping build sales process and playbooks from the ground up
    • An existing network of relevant buyer personas within target institutions
