    JOB TITLE: Growth & Special Initiatives Coordinator

    REPORTS TO: Chief of Schools

    DEPT. / SCHOOL: Administration / Bob Hope School / Harris County

    SALARY: Commensurate with Experience

    WAGE / HOUR STATUS: Exempt/Full Time

    PRIMARY PURPOSE

    The Growth and Special Initiatives Coordinator is responsible for leading the organization's strategic efforts related to membership growth, marketing, and special project initiatives. This position plays a key role in expanding Bob Hope Schol reach, increasing engagement, and generating new revenue through marketing, fund development, partnerships, and innovative programming.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, nonprofit management, public administration, education, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

    Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience in marketing, fundraising, program development, or association management.

    Special Knowledge/Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
    • Experience working in a nonprofit, educational, or association environment preferred.
    • Proficiency in CRM, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    Strategic Growth & Special Initiatives

    • Support the design and implementation of strategic growth initiatives aligned with Bob Hope School mission and goals.
    • Lead and coordinate special projects or pilot programs to expand member services, educational content, and engagement strategies.
    • Identify and analyze trends, opportunities, and challenges impacting association growth.

    Marketing & Communications

    • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to promote membership, events, certification programs, and resources.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to produce compelling content for digital campaigns, newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
    • Manage the organization's brand across digital and print channels, ensuring consistency and clarity.
    • Use analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future marketing strategies.

    Fund Development & Partnerships

    • Identify and cultivate potential funding sources including grants, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and philanthropic contributions.
    • Prepare proposals, sponsorship packages, and donor communications in collaboration with relevant departments.
    • Foster existing sponsors and partners to ensure long-term relationships and fulfillment of sponsorship agreements.
    • Collaborate with leadership to design fundraising events or campaigns aligned with Bob Hope School strategic goals.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders on growth and initiative-related projects.
    • Build and maintain relationships with school business officials, vendors, and community partners.
    • Represent Bob Hope School at events, conferences, and meetings as needed.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Equipment Used:

    Computer with appropriate software, printer, calculator, copier, facsimile machine, overhead projector, and/or other specialized equipment as needed.

    Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control under stress.

    ABOUT BOB HOPE SCHOOL

    Bob Hope School is a growing open-enrollment public charter school (non-profit) providing parents a choice in their child''s education. Bob Hope Elementary is a Montessori / Dual-Language campus. Instruction is conducted in a two-way immersion program, where teachers fluent in English teach ELA and those fluent in Spanish teach SLA and are supported by teacher aides with a strong command of both languages. Campuses are located in Port Arthur, Beaumont, and Baytown, Texas. The Hughen Center, Inc. is the charter holder of Bob Hope School.
