Guest Service Agent – Second Shift

Position Summary

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our front desk team for the second shift. The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, answering questions, handling guest requests, and ensuring a welcoming and positive hotel experience.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, and can remain professional and calm in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Process reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest requests.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to guest questions and inquiries.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and services.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate guest records and follow hotel procedures.
• Monitor the front desk and lobby area to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other hotel departments regarding room status and guest needs.
• Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
• Assist with other front desk and hotel duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused personality.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel operating systems.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Must be dependable and able to work scheduled second-shift hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Second Shift

Typical second-shift hours are approximately 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with the exact schedule based on hotel needs.
