About the Role

The Guest Service Representative (GSR) is the face of Hyatt Place Lexington, responsible for creating a welcoming, efficient, and memorable experience for every guest. This position combines front desk operations, guest engagement, problemsolving, and light foodandbeverage support in alignment with Hyatt’s service philosophy of care and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure

• Complete checkin, checkout, and reservation processes with accuracy and efficiency

• Provide clear, helpful information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and property services

• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests with empathy, urgency, and accountability

• Process payments, verify identification, and maintain accurate records

• Monitor lobby and public areas to ensure a clean, welcoming environment

• Prepare and maintain Gallery Kitchen items (as applicable), including stocking, light food prep, and ensuring breakfast area cleanliness

• Assist with market sales, beverage service, and other guestfacing amenities

• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure room readiness and resolve issues promptly

• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards

• Support teammates and contribute to a positive, guestfocused work environment

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality

• Professional communication skills, both in person and over the phone

• Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment

• Basic computer proficiency; experience with hotel systems is a plus

• Dependability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Guest Service Representatives are expected to maintain a polished, professional presence in the lobby, demonstrate proactive guest care, and collaborate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
