Pay Range: $40-$45.00/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Lead Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire configuration, customization, integration, and support. The ideal candidate will lead development efforts, provide technical guidance to team members, collaborate with business stakeholders, and deliver scalable insurance solutions for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Guidewire PolicyCenter development, enhancement, and implementation activities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design solutions.
• Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using:
  • Gosu
  • PCF Configuration
  • Product Model
  • Data Model Extensions
  • Rules Engine
  • Workflows
  • Batch Processes
  • Underwriting Rules
  • Rating Configuration
• Design and develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP services.
• Build and support Guidewire integrations utilizing APIs, messaging services, and batch interfaces.
• Perform code reviews and enforce Guidewire development best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Support deployment, release planning, and post-production activities.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to offshore/onshore teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 6-8+ years of Guidewire development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Expertise in:

  • Workflows
  • Batch Processes
  • Underwriting Rules
  • Rating Configuration
• Strong Java/J2EE fundamentals.
• Experience with REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, and XSD.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, SVN, or similar version control systems.
• Experience working with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
