The Guillotine Cutter Operator (Paper Cutter Operator) is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining KDM's cutting equipment to accurately cut printed materials to customer specifications and company standards. This role ensures production efficiency, cutting precision, quality control, and on-time completion of jobs while supporting a safe and organized manufacturing environment. - This is a full-time, in-office position based in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.
Compensation- $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
- Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise.

QUALIFICATIONSRequired - High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating paper cutting or guillotine cutting equipment in a printing, packaging, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience reading and interpreting work orders, job tickets, and production specifications.
- Strong understanding of measurements, layouts, and cutting tolerances.
- Ability to use measuring tools including rulers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with production reporting systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Preferred - Experience operating Polar, Challenge, or similar programmable paper cutters.
- Experience within printing, packaging, POP displays, direct mail, labels, graphics, or related manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of paper stocks, printed materials, and finishing processes.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and machine setup adjustments.
- Familiarity with production workflow software and data collection systems.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement practices.
