About the Role:
D & D Construction LLC is looking for a skilled Handyman/Carpenter to join our growing team in Allentown, PA! This is a hands-on role where you'll tackle a variety of residential and commercial projects, bringing craftsmanship and quality to every job. Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work including framing, trim, doors, windows, and finish carpentry
- Complete general handyman repairs and maintenance tasks for residential and commercial clients
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and project specifications
- Install cabinetry, flooring, drywall, and other structural or cosmetic components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing structures and recommend solutions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members on job progress
Requirements:
- Proven experience in carpentry, general construction, or handyman services
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various conditions
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
