Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and hardworking handyman for a temporary position involving residential and light commercial property maintenance, repairs, and improvements.


IMPORTANT: This is a temporary, project-based position. However, we have additional projects planned, and the right candidate may be offered future work based on performance, reliability, quality of workmanship, and project availability.


The ideal candidate is versatile, efficient, detail-oriented, and capable of completing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks independently.


Responsibilities

• Basic electrical troubleshooting and legally permitted fixture repairs
  
  
• Minor plumbing maintenance and repairs
  
  
• Carpentry, trim installation, and general woodwork
  
  
• Drywall repairs, patching, spackling, and sanding
  
  
• Interior and exterior painting
  
  
• Installing fixtures, hardware, shelving, and other items
  
  
• General building maintenance and repairs
  
  
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  
  

All electrical and plumbing work must comply with applicable New Jersey licensing and permit requirements.


Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional handyman or property maintenance experience
  
  
• Experience with basic electrical and plumbing maintenance preferred
  
  
• Strong carpentry, painting, and drywall repair skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
  
  
• Comfortable working on ladders
  
  
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds
  
  
• Reliable transportation
  
  
• Punctual, dependable, and hardworking
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  
  
• Own basic hand tools preferred
  
  
• Professional attitude and good communication skills
