Summary The Hard Armor Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating revenue and supporting customers in Domestic, International & Federal law‑enforcement. This role focuses on managing inbound inquiries, providing product recommendations, and guiding customers through the purchasing process for hard armor products including ballistic plates, shields, helmets, and protective solutions. The position requires strong product knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical customers.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities: 1. Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life for hard armor lines. 2. Define and execute product strategies that align with customer needs, market demands, and organizational objectives. 3. Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to develop and refine product roadmaps. 4. Maintain deep knowledge of industry standards (e.g., NIJ) and ensure compliance across all products. 5. Works closely with Sales Representatives on a daily basis. 6. Address real-time production issues and bottlenecks, making rapid decisions to minimize downtime and meet delivery goals. 7. Ensure that customer orders are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards. 8. Provides Hard Armor product sheets and specifications upon request. 9. Monitors bid postings and ensure Sales Representatives are aware of bids in their assigned territory. 10. Reviews bidding requirements and summarizes for Sales Representatives. 11. Following up with Customers as needed from proposal/bid to order. 12. Supports senior sales personnel as needed. 13. Works with Customer Service personnel to ensure accuracy of orders. 14. Independently manages smaller accounts under Sales Representatives supervision. 15. Submits sample requests and follow them through the order entry and production process. 16. Routinely works directly with distributors and end users in support of sales efforts. 17. Works with production personnel to expedite orders when necessary. 18. Monitors custom orders from engineering through production, assembly and shipping to verify end user requirements for product and timeframes are met. 19. Anticipates potential problems with orders and works to avoid them. 20. Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards. 21. Maintains a safe and clean work area. 22. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
