The team is responsible for the end-to-end design and development of advanced hardware solutions.Authoring functional specifications of high power and high density Ethernet switches used in AI networksSelecting and qualifying componentsSchematic capture and tool-based design verificationWorking closely with eCAD teams on PCB layout and component footprintsRunning signal integrity simulations on power and datapath signalsWorking closely with mechanical and thermal engineers on system general arrangement and physical realizationSpecifying PCB stackup and fabrication details with various PCB vendorsDeveloping programmable logic devices for control and timing planesWorking closely with local and overseas Contract Manufacturers from prototype through productionLab bring up and debug of prototypesWorking closely with diagnostics software engineers on design validation and manufacturing test developmentDriving complex system debug between software, hardware, and test teamsTraining CM for high yield test and manufacturingQualificationsBSEE or MSEE2+ years of relevant experience in hardware engineering (new graduates also considered)Solid understanding of basic electronics theory and designExperience with circuit design and debug, especially involving high speed signalsExperience with lab debug and test equipmentExperience learning complex design toolsFamiliarity with signal integrity and power integrity conceptsFPGA design and system simulation experience is a plusSome Python or other coding experience is a plusArista Networks is an equal opportunity employer.
